Behind the photo: The stories not told (workshop)

Ever scrolled through your photos and thought, "I wish people knew what really happened that day..."?

Your best marketing stories are already in your camera roll.

As a marketing coach, I’ve seen so many business owners struggle to share their stories because they feel like they don’t know what to say or worry their content isn’t “interesting enough.” The truth is, your everyday moments are filled with powerful stories — you just need to know how to find them.

That’s what this storytelling workshop on Friday, April 11th at 12:00 pm ET is all about. Cost to attend? $47 (Canadian).

What to Expect

In this 1.5-hour interactive workshop (via Zoom), I’ll guide you through:

  • How to choose and use everyday photos that reflect meaningful moments in your life or business

  • How to use a simple storytelling framework to turn those moments into compelling content

  • How to then design a social media post that’s clear, engaging, and true to your brand

This isn’t about crafting a “perfect” post — it’s about learning how to share your experiences in a way that feels natural, builds trust, and helps people connect with you and what you do. Which then in turn drive sales and results.

Who This is For

This workshop is designed for small business owners, entrepreneurs, and creatives who:

  • Struggle to know what to post on social media

  • Want to share their story but aren’t sure where to start

  • Feel overwhelmed by content creation and want a simpler, more authentic approach

What You’ll Walk Away With

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have:

  • A meaningful story you can confidently share right away

  • A simple storytelling framework that will help you turn personal moments into powerful content

  • Simple design tips to create posts that are eye-catching and on-brand

  • A simple workbook that will help you practice what you learned

What you need to do before the workshop

Go through your camera roll and pick 3 photos you would like to tell the stories behind. They can be any photos, but think about picking the ones that are meaningful to you, may tell a different story than what people think.

If you’re ready to stop second-guessing your content and start sharing stories that connect, I’d love for you to join me.

Not convinced or have questions?

Send me an email or maybe you’re curious enough to want to find out what the stories are behind these photos of mine. I’ll tell you in the workshop!
